Penny draws from her breath of movement to her teaching. With studies in somatic work, contact improvisation, Instant Composition, Yoga (Ashtanga, Iyengar and Vinyasa Flow), and Capoeira these alternative techniques complement her grounding in formal contemporary dance technique and ballet. Penny aims to bring a detailed sense of how we can move our bodies to find more joy and playfulness in our lives.

Some of her employers have included EPIICO (Mexico City), Anniesland College - Glasgow, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland - Junior and University courses, Paragon Music Ensemble, London CI, Dance House (Glasgow), Citymoves (Aberdeen), Invisible Centre for Contemporary Dance (ICCD), Iran and Beijing Contact Improvisation.
